Hello!

Hi there! I'm Finnegan Placek from Finnegan's Turning Co. I am a 24-year-old artist and furniture designer that is working out of Monmouth County, New Jersey. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Art Degree: Furniture Design from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, in 2024. There, I worked  with many other woodworking artists and honed my skills. Throughout my childhood, I found a strong interest in art and was always painting, drawing, and building little things. With my grandpa's help and encouragement, I learned about woodworking and discovered my passion of working with organic materials - like wood and fibers. Now, I carry my memories of making little cars and footstools with my grandfather in the work I create for all of you.
