Each product is handmade by Finnegan Placek. All pieces are water popped during the sanding process, then sanded multiple times up to 400 grit for a very smooth finish. Then they are sealed with 2 coats of OSMO Hard Wax Oil Finish - when cured the finish is food safe and water resistant (extended washes or contact with water will effect this finish).
A Note on Care & Maintenance
Your bowl is a functional piece of art. Treat it with care, and it will last a lifetime.
Hand wash gently; dry promptly after use.
Avoid dishwashers and prolonged soaking.
The food-safe hard wax oil finish can be refreshed as needed using Osmo TopOil or a similar wood bowl finish to maintain its luster and protection.
